With a 550 bed capacity Moi Teaching & Referal Hospital is the second largest public hospital in Kenya – second only to Kenyatta hospital. Heating water in this institution was done using electricity until the management found the high cost of electricity unsustainable. Botto-Solar was contacted and within 14 days we had installed a Mega Turbo 2000 ltrs system distributing hot water to ward 5,6,7,8,9,10, kitchen and laundry. Satisfied by the performance of the above system, we were awarded a further contract of installing another 3 Mega 2000Ltrs Turbo hot water system (6000 ltrs of hot water). This was to serve hot water to Nyayo wards, Private wing II (memorial) and private wing.

Before its completion Mr. Kalya the owner had to decide on a hot water system which would be most reliable and economical. With the assistance of Eng. Gikandi (main contractor) and Mr. Kiptoo (quantity surveyor) they agreed and ordered 2 systems of Mega 2000 lts from Botto Solar Ltd. Today he has no regrets it was the right decision.

Kabarak university is less than 20 minutes drive from Nakuru town along the Nakuru – Kabarnet Road.
